The C015-1 Cylindrical Quartz Electrochemical Cell is designed for in-situ and operando electrochemical studies requiring high optical transparency and chemical inertness. Constructed entirely from fused quartz without adhesives or bonding agents, the cell offers excellent optical performance with over 95% light transmittance, making it ideal for photoelectrochemical experiments, UV-Vis spectroscopy, photocatalysis, spectroelectrochemistry, and light-assisted electrochemical investigations.
The cylindrical quartz design provides a clear optical path for efficient illumination and spectroscopic measurements while maintaining compatibility with standard three-electrode electrochemical systems. The PTFE sealing assembly ensures reliable leak-proof operation and precise electrode positioning, while optional gas inlet and outlet ports enable controlled atmosphere experiments under inert gases. The cell can accommodate various working electrodes, including gold, platinum, and other custom electrode configurations. Available in both relatively sealed and absolutely sealed versions, the C015-1 is well suited for oxygen-sensitive electrochemical experiments, photoelectrocatalysis, semiconductor characterization, and advanced electrochemical research requiring optical access to the reaction environment.
