The C026-3 Bracket-Type Photoelectrochemical Cell is specifically designed for photoelectrochemical studies on flat, non-standard, and custom-shaped electrode materials. The fixed-area bracket design securely holds planar samples while exposing a precisely defined active area to the electrolyte, making the cell ideal for semiconductor characterization, photocatalysis, photoelectrochemical water splitting, CO₂ reduction, corrosion studies, thin-film evaluation, and photo-assisted electrocatalysis research.
Constructed from chemically resistant PTFE and equipped with a high-transparency quartz optical window (>95% transmittance), the cell enables efficient illumination of the working electrode while ensuring excellent compatibility with aggressive electrolytes. The bracket-style sample holder accommodates a wide range of conductive substrates and coated samples, allowing rapid sample replacement and reproducible measurements. A 360° rotatable PTFE electrode alignment system enables precise positioning of the reference and counter electrodes relative to the illuminated sample surface, minimizing measurement errors and improving experimental consistency. The integrated aeration system supports controlled atmosphere experiments under inert or reactive gases, while the fixed-area design ensures reliable comparison between different materials and coatings. Available in volumes from 30 mL to 500 mL, the C026-3 is an ideal platform for advanced photoelectrochemical and materials research.
