The C009 Spherical Corrosion Test Cell is specifically designed for electrochemical corrosion studies of metallic materials in aggressive liquid environments. Commonly used for Tafel polarization, Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic polarization, and corrosion rate determination, the cell provides reliable and reproducible corrosion measurements under controlled conditions. The integrated adjustable Luggin capillary minimizes IR drop by positioning the reference electrode close to the test specimen, improving data accuracy. A standardized 1 cm² exposed area ensures consistent comparison between different materials and coatings. Available in 500 mL and 1000 mL capacities, the cell is ideal for evaluating corrosion resistance of metals, alloys, coatings, and surface-treated materials in laboratory and industrial research applications.
