Full PTFE H-Type Membrane-Replaceable Photoelectrochemical Cell (Relatively Sealed) – Model: C027-1
The C027-1 Full PTFE H-Type Photoelectrochemical Cell is designed for advanced photoelectrochemical and electrocatalytic research requiring complete separation of anodic and cathodic reactions. The dual-chamber H-cell configuration, combined with an ion-exchange membrane, enables independent investigation of reaction products while minimizing cross-contamination, making the cell ideal for photoelectrochemical water splitting, CO₂ reduction, nitrogen reduction, hydrogen evolution, oxygen evolution, solar fuel generation, and semiconductor photoelectrode studies.
Constructed entirely from chemically resistant PTFE, the cell provides exceptional compatibility with corrosive electrolytes and harsh reaction environments. The membrane-replaceable design allows easy installation and exchange of ion-exchange membranes, while the reference and working electrodes are positioned within the same chamber to reduce IR drop and improve measurement accuracy. A 360° rotatable PTFE alignment system enables precise positioning of the electrodes relative to the optical window, ensuring optimal illumination and reproducible experimental conditions. Integrated gas purging accessories support controlled-atmosphere experiments under inert or reactive gases, making the C027-1 an ideal platform for in-situ photoelectrochemical investigations and long-term electrocatalytic studies. Available in volumes ranging from 30 mL to 500 mL, the cell is suitable for both fundamental research and practical catalyst evaluation.
