This H-Cell is ideal for experiments where the working electrode must be isolated from the counter electrode, ensuring accurate and interference-free measurements. Also known as a two-compartment cell, it features dual chambers separated by a sintered glass frit that prevents bulk mixing of electrolytes while maintaining ionic conductivity between compartments. Integrated gas purging ports are provided for controlled atmosphere studies, supplied with 4 mm PTFE plugs to securely seal the ports when not in use and 4 mm PTFE purging tubes for gas purging or gas collection.
This cell is widely used in electrochemical research applications such as electrocatalysis, membrane and separator testing, ion transport studies, corrosion analysis, and redox reaction investigations, where cross-contamination must be minimized. Customization is available upon request, including different frit porosity or sizes to suit specific experimental requirements.
