Small-Volume H-Type Membrane Electrochemical Cell (10 mL + 10 mL)
The Small-Volume H-Type Membrane Electrochemical Cell is designed for electrochemical and electrocatalytic studies requiring separation of anodic and cathodic reactions while minimizing electrolyte consumption. The dual-chamber configuration, with 10 mL volume per side and a minimum working volume of only 5 mL, makes it ideal for experiments involving precious catalysts, expensive electrolytes, and proof-of-concept investigations.
Constructed from high-quality borosilicate glass, the cell provides excellent chemical resistance and optical visibility during operation. The two compartments are connected through a PTFE screw-type membrane holder, allowing secure installation and easy replacement of ion-exchange membranes. PTFE lids are equipped with standard 6 mm electrode ports compatible with working, counter, and reference electrodes, while custom port dimensions can be provided to suit specific experimental requirements.
The compact geometry enables close electrode placement, reducing solution resistance (IR drop) and improving electrochemical measurement accuracy. The leak-resistant sealed design is suitable for electrochemistry, electrocatalysis, membrane transport studies, water splitting, CO₂ reduction, electrosynthesis, and photoelectrochemical research. Customization options include chamber volume, electrode port configuration, membrane interface dimensions, and connector design to meet specialized research requirements.
