Side-Illumination Photoelectrochemical Cell (PEEK Version) – Model: K1300-25
The K1300-25 is an advanced version of the K1300 photoelectrochemical cell, specifically developed for high-performance photoelectrochemical studies requiring enhanced thermal and chemical stability. Constructed from polyetheretherketone (PEEK), the cell can operate at temperatures up to 110°C, making it suitable for elevated-temperature photoelectrochemical experiments, photocatalysis, semiconductor characterization, solar energy conversion, and electrocatalytic research.
The cell features a side-illumination design with a precisely defined 1 cm² active area, ensuring reproducible photocurrent and photoelectrochemical measurements. An integrated Luggin capillary positions the reference electrode tip approximately 2 mm from the working electrode surface, significantly reducing solution resistance and improving measurement accuracy. The upgraded side-mounted electrode holder enables rapid installation and replacement of flat electrode samples, enhancing experimental convenience and throughput. Supplied with a light-shielded Ag/AgCl reference electrode and platinum wire counter electrode, the K1300-25 provides a complete and reliable platform for advanced photoelectrochemical investigations. Available in compact 5 mL and 10 mL volumes, it is particularly suitable for experiments involving precious materials, limited electrolyte volumes, and high-value photoactive samples.
