Small-Volume Side-Illumination Photoelectrochemical Cell (Bracket Type) – Model: K1300
The K1300 Side-Illumination Photoelectrochemical Cell is specifically designed for photoelectrochemical characterization of flat electrodes, semiconductor materials, thin films, coatings, and photoactive catalysts. Its side-illumination geometry enables direct light exposure to the working electrode surface, making it ideal for photocurrent measurements, photoelectrochemical water splitting, solar energy conversion, semiconductor studies, photocatalysis, and light-assisted electrocatalytic research.
Constructed from chemically resistant PTFE and equipped with a high-transparency quartz optical window (>95% transmittance), the cell ensures excellent optical performance and long-term durability in a wide range of electrolytes. The bracket-type sample holder accommodates flat and custom electrode materials while maintaining a precisely defined active area of 1 cm² for reproducible measurements. A screw-clamping mechanism securely seals the working sample against the optical window, enabling rapid sample replacement and reliable operation. The cell is supplied with a silver/silver chloride reference electrode and platinum wire counter electrode, while dedicated workstation connectors provide convenient integration with electrochemical instruments. The K1300 is an ideal platform for photoelectrochemical research, materials screening, and semiconductor performance evaluation under controlled illumination conditions.
